About the Role:
We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Social Media Intern to join our marketing team. This internship is a great opportunity for someone passionate about social media, content creation, and digital marketing. As a Social Media Intern, you will assist in managing our social platforms, creating engaging content, and learning how to build and grow an online community.
This is a hands-on internship that offers real-world experience and an opportunity to contribute to live campaigns, all while working alongside a dynamic and supportive team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing and scheduling engaging content for social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.).
- Research current trends, hashtags, and industry best practices to increase brand visibility.
- Support the team in planning and executing social media campaigns.
- Create graphics, short videos, and reels using tools like Canva, Adobe Suite, or other editing software.
- Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and interactions across platforms.
- Track and report social media performance metrics (reach, engagement, growth, etc.).
- Help with influencer research and outreach when needed.
- Brainstorm and pitch creative content ideas aligned with brand goals.
Skills and Expertise Required:
- Passion for social media and digital marketing.
- Basic knowledge of social media platforms and current trends.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with Canva, Adobe Spark, or other graphic design tools is a plus.
- Creative thinking and an eye for visual design and detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and eager to learn.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Journalism, Media Studies, or a related field.
- Experience in managing personal or student-led social media pages is a plus.
- Understanding of brand tone and online audience behavior.
